Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
반짝이는 구리 주전자와 따뜻한 털장갑.
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
노끈에 묶인 갈색의 소포 꾸러미.
These are a few of my favourite things
모두 다 내가 좋아하는 것들이지.

Cream coloured ponies and crisp apple strudels
크림색 조랑말과 바삭바삭한 사과 파이.
Doorbells and slaybells and schnitzel with noodles
초인종과 썰매 종소리, 그리고 누들이 들어간 커틀릿.
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
달빛을 받으며 나는 기러기들.
These are a few of my favourite things
모두 다 내가 좋아하는 것들이지.

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
흰 치마에 파란 허리띠를 맨 소녀들.
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
콧 잔등과 속 눈썹에 내려앉는 눈송이들.
Silver white winters that melt into springs
봄을 맞아 녹아드는 은백색 겨울.
These are few of my favourite things
모두 다 내가 좋아하는 것들이지.

When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I’m feeling sad
개에게 물리거나, 벌에 쏘이거나, 마음이 울적할 때,
I simply remember my favourite things and then I don’t feel so bad
좋아하는 것들을 떠올리면, 우울한 기분들은 사라지지.
